Our Tools On The Jobsite

Here is just one example of how we make the hard jobs easy.  Our customer is safely drilling from his lift using our Ratchet Drill in combination with our Drill Buddy.  Notice how effortless  drilling is and with best available silica containment.  This customer drilled 400 - 3/8” diameter holes,  2-1/4” deep, in 6 hours with this rig.  Drill concrete or metal.  Nuf said!

Window Company

Here we helped this window company in Florida drill through rebar.  They used a hammer drill to drill through the concrete but every so often they would hit rebar.  Then they would switch out using the hammer drill and use a regular drill to go through the rebar.  And then, when they got through that, they switched back to hammer drilling to complete the hole for the anchor.  So, he told us that his guys were taking 30 min just drilling through the rebar.  And then when they started using the Ratchet Drill, they were taking 2 min to drill through the rebar.  That’s a 1500% increase in productivity!  But wait, but there's more!  They could not fit the Ratchet Drill in the window frame - so we made them a 15’’ offset!

General Contractor

Here we are helping a general contractor grind off around 10,000 nails after the concrete forms were removed on 4 story parking ramp.  We mounted a cordless Metabo grinder on our saddle and offered a Ratchet Drill to them for our solution. They bought it and loved it and said it saved so much time from otherwise dragging a ladder around or even driving a lift. They wore safety glasses and a face shield.

ARCHITECTURAL GLAZING, COMMERCIAL WINDOWS & DOORS, STOREFRONT AND CURTAINWALL CONTRACTOR

Here we helped this window company with the overhead drilling into both steel and concrete of a brand new 50 story condo building. The crew used multiple Ratchet Drills (drilling from the ground) while being on different stories at one time. They also used multiple Drill Buddies and Ratchet Drill Minis (drilling from a scissors lift) with saddles holding standard drills and hammer drills, depending on the situation. With material being stored on the job site, there was barely any room to navigate through the floor to do your job, especially with any efficiency, so the Ratchet Drill being so mobil was well received.

HVAC/MECHANICAL AND PLUMBING CONTRACTOR

Here we helped the Plumbing Contractor drill a 1” diameter hole to set an anchor for the threaded rod. They have 20,000 holes to drill on this floor alone! The crew is using multiple Drill Buddies and Ratchet Drill Minis on this hospital job.

The Lynch Company - Portland, Oregon

Here they are using a Ratchet Drill Press Mini to drill 1500 holes, with a 1/2" drill bit, 4” deep. Notice the ability of drilling deeper and deeper made possible by the ease of lifting the handle up and down to ratchet the gear.

Vik-XS - Pennsylvania

Here they are using a Ratchet Drill inside a boom lift in a subway system in Manhattan, NY installing a monorail.  They are using a 1/2” drill bit drilling 7-1/2” deep and also setting the 7-1/2” anchor with the Ratchet Drill.

Lithko Contracting - Mooresville, NC

"We drilled about 1500 holes with your set up. Worked great! Our guys are hard on tools and have a proven track record of finding weak spots in any design!"

Here they are using a Ratchet Drill Press with our Scooter and carrying the vacuum to extract the dust using a hollow core drill bit and drilling to the perfect depth with our depth stop.

Vector Construction - Wells Fargo, ND

Here they are using a Ratchet Drill Micro (we modified a Mini to make it shorter) for Vector to drill about 200 holes, with a 2” drill bit, 3 1/2” deep.  They are inside a concrete culvert and only have 60’’ from floor to ceiling to work with.  (That 60” includes the length of the HILTI Drill, a 12” drill bit and the Ratchet Drill.)
